I have several today, so I'm just going to compile them here.

First, when applications are being held for staff and moderators, an announcement should be made so that all users have a fair chance to apply by the deadline. I have noticed that no announcement is ever made, and although that may help to determine which users are active and surf the board most frequently, many good candidates may miss the opportunity.

Secondly, there needs to be a summon for only posters in a thread. That way, a user could summon everyone who has posted in a specific thread without having to summon individuals or specific groups of people.

Lastly,  a menu next to the reply field, listing all of our friends and quick summons to various groups (local mods, global mods, posters, etc.). This could potentially solve many issues, including accidental summons, fail summons, HTML errors, and just saving overall time.

Deleting comments on your profile, an option to ban people from posting on your profile, and an option fro friends only in regards to who can post to your profile.
Similar options for pm's.

It would be cool if you could synch comments too, so when someone says something on your profile and you hit reply, it actualy appeared on both, that way you could actually keep track of what you had said.

Another suggestion that I just thought of. Notifications should change from new to old as we view each one, instead of them all turning to read when we view our notifications page. I lose track of which notifications I need to check, because they all run in together.

Davideo7 : Just thought I would get your opinion. I know you are busy with more important projects, but there may be some improvements here that could be implemented into them.

GuardianZack :  Not that I'm turning down your suggestion, but I actually have a solution to that.  Whenever I open my notifications, I open each item in a separate tab and go through them that way.  By doing this, I don't need to remember which ones I viewed and which ones I didn't, because they're each in a different tab and I can go through them one by one, closing the tabs as I read/ handle them.

Sorry if you already thought of that.  I just thought I'd let you know!

Singelli : Yeah, I do that, too. But some of our younger users may not realize that they can do that. Plus, there is always a risk of losing your place if the browser crashes or something.

I don't know if you're looking for any kind of suggestion, but I'll put mine here and just edit my post whenever I think of new ones.

I'd like the ability to stop receiving notifications for my own threads. There are a few that I just don't care to check up on whenever I'm notified about them, but yet, I don't want to close them either.

1. Users who fail to find new threads I think don't deserve a chance to apply to moderator position. If they aren't searching the forum enough to find these threads, there's a good chance that they might not search the forum enough once they become moderator which means they'd fail to do their job. Plus, I've made an announcement about staff applications in the past and it only caused problems.

Either way, it's too late now.

2. Eventually when I get caught up on my current massive to do list.

3. Eventually when I get caught up on my current massive to do list.

For some reason, over the past month or so, I've been getting more PMs, more summons, more things to reply to, more things to take care of and more emails than usual. It's becoming so much more time consuming than it had been in the past and because of that, I haven't been getting as much done on the site lately. That's why my development has slowed down a lot.

I also got an idea to say that just poped up in my head now. When people would try to upload a mini pic and a user pic, the file would always be too big and people would have trouble resizing it.

My idea is that when you upload a mini pic or a user pic, vizzed would have some kind of thing that would automatically resize it for you to the right size so you wouldn't have to keep looking for online image resizers.

Do you guys think this is a good idea?
