I don't know any obscure anime series' but I would suggest Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Cowboy Bebop, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica the most, seeing as how you don't have them on your list (I honestly don't know how you missed Cowboy Bebop, outta those three I suggested >.>).
