Due to the site getting so many videos because of this competition, I'll probably do another competition like this in the near future.

Cool! Finally, I won a competition in any place!
Well, it was really funny. I had fun playing those games while I was recording them. It was an important competition for me and it's good to see there are new videos as "demostrations" of the games. It was good for make this job because users were more interested in video recording now.

I also congratulate to satanos and c0matoast for their great work recording and for being on the leaderboard of most submitted videos and total video minutes.

Unlike c0matoast I didn't broke my controller but my hands hurt sometimes haha. I used to record a few videos before this contest then I played mostly games I knew in my childhood and I discovered a few ones, my only regrets are that I didn't make the videos of Axelay and Aria of Sorrow which are some of my favorites, because c0matoast made them haha :p.

I found out a little clue about avoiding lags while recording, if you have 2 (or more) different hard drives in your computer, choose the output destination in another hard drive that the one the plugin use (the system disk).

That was a great contest, I wish it makes people discover some uncommon games (like the Bombliss serie or Bomberman B-Daman) via the videos.

Yes, I chose the cash :p I already have a lot of vizs, v-machine and netplay, and I think I'll buy a GBA SP (and maybe a few games with it), I have a retrogaming collection but I never had a GBA SP, it will be better for playing GBA and GB/GBC games, as the NDS doesn't accept GB/GBC cartridges. Viva retrogaming .

You deserve some kind of reward for that insanity!  It took me an hour alone just to go through all yours, and I never thought I would finish!  I think you took the more 'slow and steady' route, because almost every single one of your videos was only worth 3 points.  That being said, you took TONS of those videos, and so you ended up getting a lot more minutes than c0matoast.

Yours also took me an hour.  Yours was the first I tallied, and I remember thinking that I was going to be up all day taking care of your score. XD XD  I thought you had it in the bag.. so many hour videos!  GREAT job!

Congrats to both of you.  I think it's super duper cool that the both of you are fairly new to the site (in terms of activity, anyways).  Thanks for all the content, and GREAT job!

I can't believe I placed! O _ O But I'm so happy! I'm glad I was able to contribute, and I'm so glad we got a lot more videos up on the site! I'll still do some videos, but I may start working on some walkthroughs, also. This contest was a lot of fun, and even though I found myself very busy through this month, I'm very glad I got to chat with all of you!

Singelli : Yes, doing 3 points video was a part of strategy because it was more worthy that 30 min or 1 hour video (15 min = 3 pts, 30 min = 5 pts, 1h = 8 pts) and beside that I thought that 15 min was the perfect format for discovering a game by a video, I used to be a video game tester on youtube and most of people stop watching after 15 min (or even before ...), except for games like RPG (in 15 min we only have the intro and the first town haha), I made a 1 hour video but it was more like an accident , I never thought that I wouldn't get the game over in just one play for so long !

So thank  you, I know that checking tons of things to tally results in a contest like that is very braindamaging :p, I hope you're doing well :p.

I'm here for a long time but I never had a lot of activity (but I already won the contest of march :p on pokemon gold emu edition along with 3 other ones) , maybe because I'm french so this is an obstacle to be really active in discussions here.

satanos :  I didn't think about the fact that the 15 minute videos were most valuable, and I was wondering why you had only one video that was more than an hour long!  LOL I thought maybe you had just forgotten that you were recording and really got into the game or something.

And well.... I think my brain is still working correctly.

Yeah I knew about 15 minute videos being the best choice points wise but I wanted to keep a variety and pressured myself to make videos or all lengths - maybe thats what slowed me down too because uploading hour long videos also takes significantly longer than 15 min or 30 min videos. Sometimes I was stuck re-uploading the same few videos for days and days and just constantly having issues with that part of the competition - then trying to remember to upload my screenshots along with it. Id be uploading 3 games, playing 1, and freemaking another simultaneously for hours on end. Then of course, I often would get sidetracked when finding a game in need of more information - so I'd try and fill out that info on the game's page too. Pretty much between that and my 50 hour a week job I had no time or energy left to do anything else on vizzed or even at home - my living room is a disaster for the first time in 3 years!

next time i just hope to get a little more free time on my side and i wouldve had this contest lol!
