I would say Magikarp is the weakest. I only say this because he only learn 3 moves 1 of them are half good, and he can't learn any Tm's or Hm's.So yes I have to say Magikarp. I mean hello wake up, and smell the coffee. What kind of Pokémon only learn 3 weak moves. The other 5 an learn  some pretty decent moves. Magikarp it actually the weakest Pokémon alive. The good thing is that it evolves into a most wicked,and boss of a Pokémon. That is actually why I risk having him in my party most times. He he evolves into a Gyarados.

Why do people keep calling Magikarp the weakest Pokémon? I agree that it's hard to train and it's stats is below average but, it evolves into Gyarados. Magikarp is more like your patient test for training. Caterpie and Weedle is worse than Magikarp, although those two evolves fast, they'll fail later at your progress because Bug-type stats at later progress is very bad that I call them 'too worse to be called mediocre'

I honestly don't know why people wouldn't choose magikarp cause it is kind of an embarrassment to water type by not learning water type moves or ice moves like other water types and I know it doesn't learn tackle or flail for a long while lol.
