So, say I'm playing Cave Story or some other full screen game, with Vizzed running in the background. I get a notification, but I don't notice because I'm playing a game. Maybe, if there was a little sound that told you when you get a PM or a notification, I'll be able to do things on Vizzed a lot more. People wonder why I'm silent when I'm online sometimes, because I'm playing a game and don't notice Notifications.

Sorry if theres already a thread like this, but I need this update.

This could be quite practical for when playing a full-screen game such as Mine-craft for example.
But I have a few suggestions to add :
To have the ability to toggle the notification sound on and off in the settings so it doesn't get irritating
whilst I'm actually on the site, to have the sound also notify me when I get a private message, and
finally have a more prominent sound for something more important such as a featured review or
if it occurs a thread trashed. I think it's a good suggestion over-all however as long as it has a
toggle-able setting I'll support the idea.

What about the idea of live notification? Since you won't know if you have a notification or not until you refresh the page. I think if we have some sort of live notification feature (a notification alert appears in real time), then the notification sound feature would be more useful.

Tails the Fox : meh...could there be something that is more...modern? (for a lack of a better term) Like a popup saying that you have a notification? Like how facebook does it? They have a real time notification system alone with a sound if the notification is a comment.
