This is just my personal opinion  what you think of the game will depend on you but I find it to be a fun and addicting game even if it is really simple to play  it has an easy to understand game play and is fun because of it. I hope you find this review useful.

I actually own this game and played the crap out of it, it was a lot of fun. It's a bit challenging to raise a monster to max stats before they have to retire (I think it invovles fusing or breeding (Whichever one as it's been so long since I've played it) and training it just right. There's also a way to get a gold monster of each type that's supposed to be more powerful than the norm, which monsters you train depends on your preferences, but I seem to recall that I used pixie and golem type monsters more often.

i ran in to the anime buy chance then i saw the game i just started so i am not to good at it yet, but i think my favorite monster so far are the basilisk. but like you said all a matter of personal taste
