Im confused as to how you think that this "happened".
Its always been the case.
Lets not forget its only been in perhaps, the last 50 years that the western world started to experience true freedom.
Racism, sexism, general xenophobia and violence have been endemic since man took his first steps.
And frankly it will be probably be endemic when man takes his last steps too, if not the cause of it.
