Hello, do you need exp for your characters? Are you having a tough time in kefka's lair, cultists tower, or dragons den? I have known and played this game ever since the advance release.

-level up and magic technique-

You need to get the spell ultima from the narshe weapons vendor, but to get to him, you need to get locke from the phoenix cavern, when you get ragnarok magicite, give it to a character then give some other magicite to other characters, then fly to the cactuar desert next to maranda. Make sure someone has learned death from catoblepas magicite, and have a character in your party who has a defense ignoring or evasion ignoring move i.e sabins raging fist or edgars drill. when in the desert, don't walk around the center of desert (because if you defeat 10 cactuar, gigantuar will appear in the center!). Use the death spell on slagworm because the slagworm is not immune to death, but death can miss so watch out! use a defense/evasion ignoring attack on cactuar to defeat it. The cactuar yields 10 ap, The slagworm yields 5 ap and a lot of exp for level 30's, so not only will this give experience, but ap as well! Don't forget to change magicites every now and then so your characters will learn more spells and gain different stat boosts.


-level up technique-

you need either soul of thamasa or genji glove and master's scroll, to do this trick with soul of thamasa, you need the minimum magic power of 70 and the spells ultima and quick . Now you should travel to the forest in the shape of a dinosaur head, here you can fight tyrannosaurs and defeat them easy with two ultima spells that cost 160 mp for two ultimas. When you encounter a brachiosaur, dualcast ultima then for the second spell cast quick, then cast ultima with the two turns from quick as each hit will do 9999. This is a quick method to defeat a brachiosaur at the cost of a large amount of mp unless you use a mp cost reducer relic. utima=80 + quick=99 = 179 + 80x4 = 499 mp. gold hairpin: 40 + 50 = 90 + 40x4 = 250. celestriad: 1 + 1 = 2 + 1x4 = 6

I know of an easier trick for Scoring Experience points.
There is the raft trick that you can look up.
But
I Favour parking the "Air ship" and going through the entire map.
You can stumble on most of the secrets by default.
The beauty of this game is you do not need the "Air Ship".
It just makes getting around easier.
After going around the world on foot a couple of times?
You should be at a good Level.
I recommend doing this before the flying Island Level.

Another trick is to repeat the "Tower of Fanatics", but that can drive anyone insane.
