Whenever I try to play this game with my friend using Netplay there's always a part messing up.
Everything is fine in the beginning but when we get to the part where we pick who's going to be first and last using the dices we always get different numbers.
The order the turns are made always messes up.

Example:
On my end I roll a 2 and get to start last but on her end I roll something different, like a 10.
So when the game starts someone else is first on my end but on her end it's my turn and the dice just keeps spinning over my head.

This also happens in the game when you roll the dice for how many steps you get to take.
The distance players move on the board gets messed up.

Example:
I roll something on my end, like a 5 but on her end I roll something like an 8.

This applies to all N64 games. It's desync, where the players games would reply to each other at different times. It's being worked on - different servers and such.
