I'm averaging almost 200 PM's a week and probably 25 Emails a week from members.

I have a very busy schedule and it's going to get even more busy starting next week. I can't afford to spend so much time responding to all your Emails and PMs. Some users PM me multiple times a day, acting as though the PM system is a chat room.

So new rule: Only PM me if it's important or if it's dealing with a job that you're doing for me. If you're PM'ing me regarding something else, that's fine too just as long as you're not doing it often. Staff can PM me regarding unimportant stuff but I just can't be bothered with so many PMs and Emails, especially when they're close to pointless.

So, if you have a question about something that isn't important, simply make a thread or ask another staff member. I like getting feedback but not if it's every few days / hours - once is enough. If you have a question about the rules or why you were banned, just go to the FAQ / Help center.

I also don't have time to talk with every single active member on vizzed board over MSN Messenger. If you've been on my list for more than a year, than yeah go ahead and bother me but if not, than only bother me if it's important.

It's not that I don't have time for the members or that I don't care, it's just that I gotta free up some more time in my busy schedule.

If you have questions regarding this, please ask them in this thread, don't ask thru PM's or emails.

Makes sense some people are chatterboxes lol. I agree that anything related to bans please PM mods, for help post in help forum as mentioned above, and for jobs look in vizzed market. We got many other staff members including myself so if you guys ever need help just PM any mod on the site.

Wow I never would have guessed it would be up around the 200 mark. Perhaps instead of taking the time to answer the brainless questions, you could forward them onto other staff members? I would be glad to help.

Sorry man i think i give him like 15-20 PMs and 4 E-mails a day if there pointless (i dont think so) them tell me :LOL

Also note: Other staff members/administrators can answer questions. If someone feels they need to ask something feel free to ask me...

well, I'm going to point something out...

David is the only really active Admin on the board anymore....

Bob is almost never around and Randy shows up so randomly that it's hard to catch him when he's on....

I think we could use at least one more admin that could be responsible for a lot of the stuff that David gets bombarded with....

stuff like age, gender corrections.... issues with getting banned.... general help questions.... etc. I'm sure there is a lot that goes to David that someone else could and should handle instead.

I'm going to have to agree with you there, David is most active Admin I think another would be good. If not, atleast allow global mods to change those things like age, gender, and unbanning, there is no need for us to access other info like Viz and such. Also access to a users title would be nice so when and if we ban someone we can include the reason why.

I agree. With this, David can breathe some air and take some rest. This can help a lot too.

Jig: I'd take either one... I just think more people need access to stuff like that.... these are things that take little to no effort to change but we're very restricted in the amount of stuff we can do.

I'm glad I can ban someone but once I do it's up to someone else to handle the unbanning.... it does get quite silly when they ask for an unban and I tell them I have to wait for an admin.... I really shouldn't be allowed to ban if I can't unban as well.

I don't think another admin will solve the problem, if we enable global mods to do it that's 3/4 more people who can get stuff done. And usually us 3 global mods are on every day so I don't see why not

I just came up with an idea will post in dev forum.

Well if we allow Full Mod's to do everything an admin can do, than they'd sorta become the same position.

I'm gonna look into promoting someone to Admin though.

If it helps people can PM me asking their random questions.
Mind you I'll answer in my own good time and I am not always going to be on when the member is on, but they will get an answer. Eventually.

well, most questions can be answered by any mod.... we generally know most of the same details that David knows about the board.... and if there is something specific we don't know then we can pass the question along to someone who does know.

On a more serious note: I'm up for questions from anyone that doesn't have the attitude of a jerkwad.

and I'm up for becoming the guy that does a whole lot of the fixes since I've now gotten the admin powers!
