He he he, as you can see, I decided to use an inteteresting question this time, I've always wondered, why a lot of people from around the world (including me, sometimes) swear every now and then? it's because we are MAD?...possibly, it's because we try to be funny?...sometimes...but, even though we know we are saying bad words why do we still say them? to be honest I don't swear very often. I sometimes swear when I'm with my friends (AKA classmates) because that ''looks normal'' when I'm around them (they say bad words as well)...still, I am VERY aware that those are bad words and...well, whatever, I don't swear often (especially on a family friendly site like Vizzed) but even if I ''can'' swear without causing trouble I still don't do it too much, I'm...I'm not very used at that...

I guess I'm...going a bit too far with this (semi) controversial question but yeah, someone had to ask this sooner or earlier...

lolid23 : Yes, I do swear sometimes. I try not to do that too much, because that's just rude and you shouldn't do that. But it's completely normal to say something bad, for example when you are angry.

Actually, now that I think about it, I possibly swear a bit too much.

supercool22 : Yeah, I guess you are right, we swear for fun and if we get mad, we can say bad things very easily, I think that giving an explanation about why most of the time listening to bad words is funny however, still, I guess most people would agree that listening to someone swearing (*cough* Angry Video Game Nerd *cough*) is more funny than, for example, watching two people having a violent fight

It's been a work in progress, but I have to say that this son of two foul-mouthed U.S. Navy parents has overcome the problem of swearing, even when I'm angry. I rarely ever even think in those words anymore, and if I do, it's usually a repetition of what I've just heard. I'm extremely happy that this habit has been broken, as it's one that I had since I was in middle school and one that contradicts the values I hold dear to me.

I don't swear in my casual day to day life. Well, very rarely I will. I mostly do it however when I played sports, such as when I drop a ball in rugby or miss a tackle.

I swear.  I don't care.  It isn't really "bad", because the meanings have been labeled as "bad".  But, in my opinion, I don't find them "bad", and I use them uncommonly, but they are used more than the average person.
Except in front of adults.  Never be a kid that swears in front of adults.  That's just bad.

I purposely swear occasionally, I don't really see what is so bad about it. It doesn't hurt anyone apart from the people that let it hurt them, its just words that people blow out of proportion in most cases. I don't go out of my way to swear though, normally it happens when I am angry, or in the heat of battle in a game.

Swearing it's not something really bad... It's more of a common thing.

It's the way a person has to express it's anger. I swear sometimes, I must say.

For me, as long it doesn't go out of control, it's okay. 

I don't swear. Even if I've heard some kids swear frequently when I was young, I haven't been fond of even trying to do it, although I don't really care if they do...

If I feel like it there aint no perkeleen thing anybody can do about it and there is nothing wrong in it either. Drat and double drat. I would have gotten away if it too if it were not for you meddling kids...

It's not Bad...well it is but it's not, more rude and vulgar, I know I swear a lot and don't know I'm doing it half the time, some people stop and ask..."What'd you say?" and of course...me... "-out comes another word-, my bad". hehe

I don't wanna say I swear constantly...but I do in fact swear constantly. I don't think it's the swearing that's bad, I think it's the time and place you choose to swear that can be bad. Personally I don't think it's even possible to get a point of great displeasure across properly without swearing. Swearing is also a great way of making it known how awesome something is. For some, swearing is a way of overcoming an extremely limited vocabulary, for me it's a great way to not make people feel dumb by using words they don't know or understand the meaning of.

Well, swearing is not that bad, unless your swearing on something dumb like, "I swear I didn't play with the toy on the floor."
For me, I would swear to stay out of trouble. 

I Know it's bad to swear but. Dang there are just some users and other people that would get on your nerves

Sometimes you just can't help it, I mean seriously... there are days or times when something just pushes your buttons way too much that you might just snap and start attacking people without mercy.

I only swear once in a blue moon, and I don't know if I have EVER sworn online before, and I'm 15 years old for crying out loud.
