Hi all, I'm having great trouble trying to find a hack for Fire Red which allows all Pokemon to be evolved by levelling up instead of trading, while also keeping the original map/look/story line/opponents/starter Pokemon, etc. All i want is a standard version of Fire Red i can play on my VBA, only difference i want is the evolution changes since i'll be playing on a smart phone and will be unable to trade. I also wouldn't mind it if all Pokemon appeared in the wild, but that isn't essential for me.

Last hack i downloaded for Fire Red had all Pokemon appearing in the wild and got rid of trade evolutions, which is what i want, however it also changed scenery, making it looks considerably more amateurish and awkward and changed the starter Pokemon, opponents etc. I am yet to find a decent, simple Fire Red ROM that only addresses the trade evolution problem and wild Pokemon, if anyone can help direct me to a ROM of the vanilla Fire Red without trade evolutions, i would be most greatful.

I made a hack called Pokemon catch em all ( lg and fr Ver) 

Lets see the only one I can think of is Pokemon yet another fire red hack its been a while but the only thing is it has 5 and 4 gen Pokemon but they do not need to be traded to level up.I think it still has kanto starters but not really sure.I may be wrong for once again It has been a while since I played it.

and austinpokedud, i am only interested in first and second generation Pokemon, I grew up with the first 2 generations. The later generations don't appeal to me, was too old at that point and i think they got a bit lazy/desperate

And i suspect i can make a task you see as simple into a needlessly difficult task. My head is weird like that, but if it truly is that easy to hack i guess i could give it a go, never even attempted to hack anything myself.

Any advice on how to solve this problem? I haven't downloaded anything from the site before or even visited it. 

Cosmical1 : Some games are hard to hack and other are easy. It depends if someone made a tool for it yet and what you want to do. Pokémon and some others are very easy to do simple things. 
In YAPE you just click the drop down menu, select the Pokémon, then edit the data. It will only take you a few minutes to do. 
Edit:  I think I added it somewere else too. I'll go look for it. Normally if you download too many files you have to wait until tomorrow to download more. I'm not sure what happened. 

Would editing the stats be an easy task, or would it involve me typing out lines of code or something?

EDIT: Got myself YAPE, kind of hard to believe it's this easy to change details of the game, and all i do is click save and the ROM is changed? Totally unexpected for me. Changing the evolutions seems a bit dodgy though, i change Haunter for example, to evolve by level at level 40, then go on Bulbasaur and it says it evolves into Gengar at level 40. So i'm a bit confused as to why the info stays the same on each Pokemon, and not just the Pokemon i edited. I'm guessing though, as long as i don't click Replace or Delete, the info won't change.

Yup you just have to hit save . 
To change the evolution you'll have to clear the current one. There is a button that says "Clear". 

Also if you change the Haunter if wont go Gastly > Haunter > Bulbasaur. If will go Gastly > Haunter > Bulbasaur > Ivysaur > Venasaur. 

Yeah I was surprised how easy it was too. If you have the right tools everything is easier. Keep in mind Pokémon is very popular so there is a good amount of tools for it. If you wanted to hack something else that isn't very well known then you'll have to do it the hard way.

Thank you for the ROM link earthwarrior. I'll download that now and hopefully it'll work by tomorrow. I'm using Windows 8 Nokia phone with a certain version of VBA, Emerald took a while to work but it did it in the end, thank you once again.

EDIT: Worked first time, thank you mate. I much prefer LG and FR to Emerald, Emerald has far too many unfamiliar Pokemon. Plus the fact that none of the wild Ghastly's know the move hypnosis and are all above level 20. And no matter how many times i fish with the OLD ROD, i don't get ANY Pokemon, so i can't get Gyrados. These problems will be solved now.

Hi, me again..

So i started Leaf Green, but it seems Haunter is unreasonably inaccurate, like, literally missing his moves more than 5/10 times. It doesn't seem to matter which Gastly/Haunter i catch, they are all unreasonably inaccurate, any way i can improve on his accuracy? An item for him to hold or anything like that? Can i change his accuracy stat using YAPE without messing anything up and without starting a new game? Because it is a bit beyond the joke, i don't remember him being this inaccurate. He even misses regularly when the enemy is asleep.

me again, pleasant surprise when my Haunter evolved at level 32 into Gengar mate, haha cheers for that. His accuracy problem seems to be becoming less prevelant as he levels up, any heads up on when onix evolves into steelix and when kadabra evolves into alakazam?

Cosmical1 : They all level up in level 32. I didn't want it to seem like I favored one over another by making some harder to get.

EDIT: Problem on the leaf green ROM mate, Onix doesn't evolve into Steelix at level 32, it starts to evolve, then after 2 seconds or so it interuppts itself and displays the message "....?" How can i resolve this?
