The thing I love about the legend of zelda?

"It is Dangerous. Take this."

Link can take on an army with just a wooden stick.

I like the progression. I like the tools.
But Honestly.

Link is the Definition of "One Bad Mutha".

After the first game? I can not get enough of the series. (Till it bleeds my wallet. Thus the last game I played in the Series is "Ocarina of Time".)
After that?
The Tools.
The Tools are another item I love.
Any Pro in any line of work needs the right tools for his job.

As opposed to just mashing a button till you get the timing right you have to employ the right tool for the right job.
Not just for boss fights, but getting around as well.

I'd say more but the kids get strange when I make long posts.

I like most things in the Legend of Zelda, but my favorite thing is the exploring. I loved, and I love, exploring around and finding secrets. Also I really like getting new weapons and items and trying them out. There are also a lot of great bosses in the Zelda series. Although it does have its share of lame bosses as well.

shanezer : I too enjoy the story very much.  I also like to look at the timeline and when all the games happened in the Hylian timeline.  I really like to play the games and see for myself of how they fit together in the timeline.  I find that very interesting.  I personally love the Legend of Zelda series so basically I like anything about them.  Except for Skyward Sword.  People are going to hate me for saying this, but I think they lost the true Loz in that game.  It's just my opinion though.

For me it would be the adventures side of things, there are always plenty of things to search out and explore. I spent many hours hunting down rocks to explode and jumping in the holes under them, to see what treasures it held. It was mostly rupees, but still, it was fun to find them. The music was also good, it had some catchy songs in there.

I like the music the best of all the features of the series, but I also like the gameplay and the art a whole bunch. I think Nintendo does especially well on the art of the opening locations of Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. There's nothing like walking around in Kokiri Forest or on Outset Island (Windfall's designed skillfully, too.)

I really like the graphics of this game in my opinion. But the sound was just godly in Ocarina of Time. It is not the gameplay, I'm talking about the sound and audio, and even the graphics here. Just beautiful.
