We Want GC Games!


Why can't we get classic GameCube games? We want to play games such as Metroid Prime, Luigi's Mansion, Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, and more classics. Why can't we get a gamecube emulator? We want to play some of the best games ever, so why can't we? I personally would love to play Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and Double Dash. I bet you many more people want a gamecube emulator other than me, so why can't we just get one?

Rather horrifying to see this as a first post. There are many reasons for there not being Gamecube games on here. The games are too big, with each one being several gigabytes. It would cause too much server strain for one person to play one of the games. The cost of keeping Vizzed up would skyrocket. Oh, and your computer probably is not powerful enough.

Don't ever expect Gamecube games to ever be on here. Please post in more appropriate places such as an introduction thread in the newbie forum.

Here is why we don't have gamecube games in the rgr
1.Some people's computers probably couldn't even play it for it requires a ton of gigabytes just to run one game.
2.It would require a ton of bandwidth and getting bandwidth means using money to buy it.

This is one of the most asked questions on this website. GameCube ROMS are extremely large in size which would take hours to download on your computer so it could be played. This would also put a lot of strain on the servers which could make loading a page on this site nearly impossible.

This is also not possible due to licencing issues, Nintendo and other developers would have a serious problem having these sort of games on this site for free. The only disk based system available on this site is the Sega CD. It's very unlikely that any disk based systems made after the Playstation will be added.
