The radio has been asking people how they talk to their kids about the Boston Marathon attack.  I want to know if you (younger folks) actively seek out parents for guidance, help, or to make you feel better.

I talk to my parents about the bigger things, I usually don't talk to my sisters much. I'm more of a quieter person, I tend to keep things to myself. Doing that can hurt at times, but it's just how I am. I also talk to God about these things as well (I'm a Christian, what were you expecting?). I know I can always come to Him, and He'll listen. XD

well i dont ever really talk to my parents about things going onn in my life. and since im the oldest of six kids theres really no one to talk to in my house. but as for my friends, it depends. some friends i will talk to all the time. others i wont tell them about stuff

When something large happens, I don't talk to anyone. I wait for someone to talk to me. My friends usually do, so these things usually get talked about. For instance, one happened recently and everyone has been talking about it. It is a common subject at my college.
