It would be amazing if they do appear I would like to see Buu (He is one of my favorite villains) and Goku and Vegeta, The super power form would be ssj1.

It would be pretty cool to see someone shout  OVER 9000 when it's there final smash. I don't know too much about DBZ but I know they guy who fight and do Hadouken sort of things, which fits into SSB quite well. 

I think they will be in SSB at some point, when Nintendo go down like Sega did and you get SSB for the Xbox Two (when it comes out). Nintendo are not going in the right direction in technology with that 2DS thing.

I am astonished at the negativity. lol Although maybe I read the initial post wrong? I thought this was intended to be a discussion of their powers in the game; it's pretty obvious they would never actually have  a DBZ/Nintendo mash up. 

Anyways, I personally think it's cool to think of how certain characters would play in a similar fighting environment such as Super Smash Bros. I think if Goku would be crafted around such gameplay his B attack would charge up his ki for his thrust B, which would be a Kamehameha. Up B could be briefly sustained flight. Not sure about the fourth move. Maybe down B can transform him to Super Saiyan? Or what if Down B like a block/counter? Yeah! Down B can cause him to counter... i.e teleport behind someone. I think he should go SS for smash attacks, and his final smash should be the Spirit Bomb! Or perhaps he can turn red (kaio ken) for smash attacks instead? But then he wouldn't have any super saiyan moments and that'd be unfortunate lol . 

Anyways, an interesting discussion , in my opinion. 

Like it was mentioned here before, they are way too strong. Everyone will go Goku and kamehameha each other to death. Also they are not from Nintendo and the whole idea of smash bros is Nintendo characters fighting each other. So with all my love to dragon ball z, I'm going to have to say no :/

Maybe someone weaker character like Tienshinhan or Yamcha would be nice..

I would not like to see them in Smash. As much as I like both series, DBZ doesn't fit too well with Nintendo. I wouldn't like it as DBZ is manga and anime mainly and it just feels off to have them in a crossover for video game characters. That would be like having Gaston and Frollo in Smash Bros. Unless Nintendo/Namco does it to promote a new DBZ game I wouldn't like it.

I would like to have them in but I feel like smash bros is fine on its own. The way smash bros is with the nintendo and nintendo related characters is what makes smash bros what it is

No because it would be hard to program DBZ characters in the game and smash bro's is supposed to be NINTENDO characters facing off against each other plus the would be to OP ( over powered ) no one would be able to beat them  and everybody would use them

You say that they'd be overpowered, but then again, Palutena is a character in ssb4 and she's a goddess. Besides, they'd just balance them to be as good as the rest of the characters. But anyway, I don't think they'd be a good idea as playable characters because they don't match the tone of the game. For Non-Nintendo characters, I think 2-3, maybe 4 or 5 five would be enough, but anything above that would be insanely illogical. It would ruin the ssb series. I think Sonic still deserves a seat because Sega has a lot of business with Nintendo, like the Mario & Sonic Olympic Games for example. (I'm defending Sonic not because I'm good with him because honestly I suck with him, I'm defending him because I think out of all the Non-Nintendo characters, I think Sonic would match the ssb atmosphere.

Yes. It would be really cool to see DBZ characters in Smash Bros. It would change it up a little bit, and add for a bit more variety in the character lists. 

No. There are already enough characters from all over the place. If you added them, either they would overpower the other characters if the made the characters realistic... or if they made them equal, they would be under-powered, and it would tick a lot of fans off.

To be honest I don't think SSB4 needs a DBZ character at all. If Son Goku was added he would be really over powered. They would have to tune down his power level a lot.

I wouldn't mind even though I have never watched Dragon Ball Z. The more the merrier I say.

It would be cool to see dbz characters in a smash bros. game but they would probably be too overpowered.  However, there is a game similar to smash bros. called Battle Stadium D.O.N which was a mash-up of DBZ, Naruto, and One Piece.  Too bad it was only released in Japan.
