iN008 : You should put up a checklist here for each Pokemon, deleting the name of the Pokemon that have been done. Maybe you can get tons of people to pitch in if they just want to?

I made some recoloured shiny. this timw the recolouring went better and i think they look pretty cool. i hope you like them in008 i'm really trying my best here to help your hack out!

tat is not correct.
the paint i have is a older version of the one in the video. the on in the video is more for windows 8
the paint i use is different from it. it has less more detailed options. and what he does. drawing over colours without completely over swipe he's pokemon. its inpossible with my paint.
how id you like the new ones i made?...

iN008 : Will the generation one and two Pokemon be done anything differently? Perhaps we could try following a theme?

You use the eraser tool and such.
tails the fox : Make sure to change the outline for the Pokemon ( it's important. )

And I have decided to do a hack of either ruby and sapphire because their sprites don't have an opening animation
Ohh and by the way remember to do the backs of the Pokemon.

This is my adept on recolouring shiny gyarados..
i didnt change the red colours..  1 just added gold and black. the gold to makeit more like the pre evolution magikarp.and the black because i though it was pretty awesome.
also he's teeth and eyes are slightly darker of colour..
hope you like it.. the kind of  eraser tool thing is not my sepcialty. so i coloured pixel for pixel....

I mean to be honest it's the shiny Pokemon that don't make sense are the ones I am changing
The black fins don't make sense

Colours that make sense > " coolness "

iN008 : To make us stop aimlessly making images of shiny Pokemon, could you give us a list of which ones you are on about?

To be honest It's more idealistic colourings now,
since I would have to go and redo them all anyway ( For the proper format. )

Plus I need to finished the hack I'm currently doing ( Zelda hack. )
I'll start a list once I've finished it.

iN008 : What is it you mean by idealistic colourings? What do you consider idealistic?

tails the fox : Anything that would seem fitting for a pokemon,
for example Yngwie gave the idea of a golden scyther.
I then remade it to show a slight change that made a little bit more sense.

I will say this however. I don't really like weird coloured claws and teeth.
* Pokemon like Zangoose are a huge exception to that *

* Edit : Ohh and not to forget the pokemon that are sup-post to have odd coloured teeth *

iN008 : So what you want is ones that make more physical sense with the colouring? I guess that works. Okay, if I do any others, I will be sure to keep that in mind.
Oh, and how would recolouring spinda work?

re colouring spinda is hard... but it might be a fantastic idea if shiny spinda would have different tints.

because spinda's spots are always different. But this also makes it really hard to re colour him... you would have to make countless sprites..... i still don't know how they did it in the original games.. To give ALL spinda  individual spots.. But i must say spinda is one of the better Pokémon for that reason to me..



I'll wait for the check list.. And then try to re colour them.. I will re colour the same Pokémon in different colours so  in008: can choose which one is the best.

i think that colouring the black gold was better.. But i just hoped you liked it.. Also for the quality.

i just  seems to figured out how to use the erase tool as you advised me.. And i recreated a scyther as example. Not to use.. Your golden scyther is amazing keep that colour in your hack.

 i hope this hack will be great. And it would be more awesome to get credits. (nothing special only a name i don't care about rewards...)

i made some spindas for your hack in008. both tails and i came up with the idea for recolouring spidna different colours since he's spots are always different. if you don't like the idea then just pick one of em.

Well... Finally someone is making a hack I've dreamed for, for ages...
Here are some tips...
You should change the Shiny Colors for pokemon like... Dewgong, Scyther, Phanpy, Smeargle, Blissey, Dodrio, Parasect etc.
Just find the poor looking shiny pokemon sprites, and simply recolor them to a more fitting and brighter color...

Also, Shiny Pokemon are just recolored pokemon. Change them a bit. Boost their stat's up, and make them atleast  2% more easier to find...

That typhlosion looks amazing. It's WAY better than the way it used to be as a shiny.
If this hack ever gets out, I'd love to play it.
Can I suggest changing the way dragonite looks? I think it's kind of odd the way it changes from pink to green. (Dratini and dragonair are pink)

But I wonder, will changing the sprites of some shinies be the only thing that you'll change, and keep the story line the same? (Sorry I don't think this is a correct English sentence XD)

Likki : I also LOVE the way your scyther looks. It kind of reminds me of the gamecube pokemon games, where you have to purify the shadow pokemons :p
