So, as the walking dead has gone on, the TV show is starting to really separate itself from comic book series. The Governor story arc, character deaths, character personalities are all becoming different. I decided to make this to see who likes the comic books over the TV series. I personally like the TV series as of the end of season 3. The characters just seem better to me, more well acted, and I like the plot twists and character deaths. The new characters they introduce really change the story, but keep it fresh and new. The whole Merle sub-plot thing didn't happen at all in the comics, and it is one of my favorite aspects of the TV series. They are both amazing, but I prefer the TV series. What about you?

I am more of a fan of the Television show, but the comic is also pretty amazing. I find that the comic is much more gruesome than the TV show, and the portrayal of the characters is best done on TV. They're both completely different things, but they carry the same thing. The video game was a massively great part of the franchise.

The TV show was more entertaining to me, I was never the most focused person when it came to sitting down and reading a book/comic book. I have seen a few pages of the comic, but when I put it next to the TV show it fails in comparison, for me anyway.

I love both of them, I have been reading The Walking Dead comics since they came out, I like the comics a bit more because it is more brutal then the TV series, but can't blame the TV series for going exactly like the comic. Both I like and both are kinda its own thing.
