Ah yes. The 3 game characters that everyone knows about. Growing up as a kid you either mercilessly murdered koopa's as Mario, broke that ever restraining sound barrier as Sonic or absorbed the powers of robot masters as Megaman. These heroes have their own level of popularity nowadays with Mario humping the spotlight, Sonic being taken advantage of by his untrustworthy sleazeball agent and Megaman playing his underappreciated music at local clubs. I personally grew up with sonic and megaman, but what's your icon?

I don't doubt that he would beat mario but my question was which one did you grow up with, not who would beat who.

p.s. I think it is an obvious stalemate between Sonic and Megaman. I mean yes, there are all those kickass powers of Megaman's but Sonic can always go super and shred through them all.

Hmm, I think the title and the poll need an edit then to reflect what you are asking.
"The Three Titans Of Gaming" doesn't exactly say "Which did you grow up with" and unfortunatly there are alot that just won't read threads.
Sad but true.

Anyway, I grew up with MegaMan and Mario, but I'm giving the vote to MegaMan because I like those games more.
As far as a battle, MegaMan can beat Sonic easy as he has access to alot of powers, think FlashMans power to freeze time or QuickMans speed.
If Sonic had time to get the Chaos Emeralds, MegaMan had time to beat alot of robot masters for their powers

I had to pick mario.... I've played more of his games than any other.

I've never enjoyed Sonic games and while Megaman is pretty good.... I just found that once you had played 2 or 3 that they all kind of felt the same after that. I realize that there are differences but you can only come up with so many different boss ideas for each new game

I grew up with all so my pick is megaman out of all three.
I still have heaps of difficulty playing megaman games, whereas i've always found maio and sonic to be easy.

I vote for Megaman. He absorbs his enemies powers after he destroys/deletes them. That would make him like a Highlander. Or pretty close to it. And don't say Sonic could outrun him. He'd just shoot out a substance that would slow Sonic down & he'd shoot Mario before he could even jump on his head.
