what are your opinions on telemarketers, do you hate them, love them, are you one, do you know one I wanna know. They personally piss me off.

I was one a long time ago for a few days and I hated me too. One good thing about having a prepaid is that they don't call you.

I don't like telemarketers but if they are selling a legitimate product/service I don't mind that they are calling. Cold-calling people is hard and I respect the effort some of them put into it.

What I really hate are the scams of people phoning saying you've won a cruise or that you own someone money or something like that. The amount of effort people put into these scams and you would think they could manage to do something legitimate but they don't. It really bugs me.

Well I hate telemarketers, because they call at really random times and 9 times out of 10 I don't need nor do I want what they are trying to sell. And they call more than once and quite frankly its very annoying, and really wants to make me answer and start swearing at them to leave me alone, but the only thing that stop's me from doing that is I know it's there job to get on the phone call random numbers and try to sell random and useless items.

I hate them and never answer them. DOWN WITH ITIOTS(sorry, I mean telemarketers)!!!!

Some days they are amusing.
Others they are not.
You'd think that with all of the money spent on comercials these days they would be out of work. Or the internet adds would be the only thing that survived.
I honestly do not like the idea of thousands of people doing soul-killing jobs that are obsolete. I am begining to wonder if they are actual legitimate jobs Or some twisted science experiment in Psycology.
Similar to the poor folks holding business signs on the corner of the street. (In California it is a job.)
(Used to be work for homeless guys to have a chance to bounce back.
Now it is considered to be "seasonal profession"?)
I enjoy a good joke sometimes.
But Lately???
Some of the absurd things We see are going by in too trivial a manner.
I do not like wasted money or human life.
More jobs that do not insult the human condition would solve this issue real quick.
Just a thought.

When them telemarketers call, and I unfortunately pick up the phone, I just usually troll them. And then feel bad about it because they are people doing their work so they can feed their children or them selves and I'm just here, stressing them out and making them miserable and stuff.

I will do it again anyway.

I don't really care about telemarketers. My house gets at most 1 a day, so we just let them ring, and if they really care about selling something they'll leave a message. I think my parents have bought stuff from them once or twice, so I guess it isn't completely useless.

Can't stand 'em. I'm on the 'do not call list' but they still call with "you are approved for a lower rate on your home mortgage", etc. while I'm in an apartment

We'll need to remove our number from the phone book I guess :/

tRIUNE : Lol when they say that I pop out a good ol' soundboard, do I think it's Childish yes, do I think they like it no. It's harassment, whether your selling homes or car insurance or cookies, it's harassment.

I hate them, with the burning passion of 10 thousand George Foreman grills.
I find them to be a nuisance, they never give up either.
You tell them no and they just keep calling and calling.
I for one hope they all drop off the planet, and go bother an undiscovered alien race, that might actually care what they are selling.
