I'm very new to this site and I'm getting more interested in these competitions, I don't expect this thread to get much attention but I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in a speed run/ score competition of Sonic 1, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

I am also interested if anyone has any other competition or tournament ideas based around any of the Sonic games, as I am a Huge Sonic buff and would love to be a part of any Sonic  related competition.

I hope someone sees this and is interested.

Speedrunning Sonic games is a good idea, but you won't be able to host one, you should know why, but no problem, I'm planning to soon host a tournament which could contain a Sonic speedrun, I'll summon you to it when I make it, or check the forum every week to see if someone made a Speedrun contest.

You can just type out someone's username and put a colon after it to summon them here, that's what I did.

It doesn't always work though.

I know this is a bit too late but can I compete in this competition please and when does the competition start?

Can we play this game:

The reason is that in Sonic The Hedgehog 1 you can grind your score to 999990 (I think) in the Marble Zone and I found it cheating.
