Ok so I currently have 3 pokemon on my team:
Blastoise,haunter, and kadabra.
obviously you need to trade haunter and kadabra in order for them to evolve.
Is there possibly a glitch I can use to evolve them
P.S. If it helps I grinded my pokemon to high levels (40s) and I'm at celedon city.

oh yeah sorry, i missed that. i heard that there was a way to do this using the PC, but im not sure it will work with the emulator. its about cutting the middle of the save or something :/ other than that i dont think theres a way, sry

hey i did search online. if you are using Visual boy Advance(which i dont think u are) there is a 'link' that will act as a trade. or you could be all programmer style and make it so gengar and alakazam appear in the wild. but thats all i got

The RGR Plugin does support netplay, but not for the hand held systems like Game Boy. So you cannot play with another player on the plugin to trade your Pokemon. Sorry, but you can't evolve them. There are hack versions of the game here that simply make it possible to get all 151 Pokemon in the game the normal way. But if you aren't playing the hack version that does that, you are out of luck.

It is correct that you can't get them to evolve normally. But using what it called the Ditto Glitch, it's possible. First, you need the HM fly, the ability to fly to Fuchsia City, and a hex chart, like this.

So you should walk up to one of these trainers (the picture is from Yellow, but it still works with Red and Blue), or another that is in the area, where they will come up to you once you first see them. But first, save. So take the step towards them, then immediately go to the menu. If this does not work, restart from that save point. Then use fly, and go to Fuchsia City. Then next, I believe, you have to go where there are Dittos, to the right of the city. Oh, and the menu shouldn't be able to open.

So then you will find a Ditto, and you want it to transform into your Pokemon. Depending on the "special" stat of your Pokemon  (the special attack and defense) you can get a Gengar or Alakazam. The link will tell you the corrisponding special stat, to which Pokemon you will get.

Next, after the battle, you will fly back to the city near the person you used to activate the glitch. So if you used one in the picture, it would either be Lavender town or the one by the Nugget Bridge. And again, the menu will not work. Now, try to go back to the trainer you flew away from. Then eventually, the menu will open automatically. Close it, and you will get the Pokemon you want.

patar4097 : Thank you, while i was aware of the glitch I never really got the hang of it, that post clears it up. And it sucks because if i catch an alakazam he probably wont have recover a psychich.
