EDIT: Signup Closed. Tournament will begin Monday.

This is the very first "Official" vizzed tournament. I plan to hold 4 a year.

This competition will involve games of multiple genres.

Each user will play 8 games of "regular" season and the users with the best record will advance to a playoffs. Depending on how many people enter this tournament, the playoffs will be 3 or 4 games.

Each week you'll play against a user 3 times in 3 different games. You get a point for each win which contributes to your overall points. Users will be separated into divisions and whoever has the most points in their division will advance to the playoffs.

The games that this tournament will involve:
-Super Mario Kart (snes)
-Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (snes)
-Donkey Kong (nes)
-Sonic 2 (gen)
-D-Pad Hero 2 (nes)
There will be a few other games as well but they will remain secret for now

Requirements:
-You must live in the United States (unless you have had very little lag problems playing netplay with USA users)
-The RGR Plugin must work fine on your computer, especially for NES, SNES, Genesis and Netplay games (since that's what we'll be using)

Prizes:
1st = 50,000 Viz
2nd = 10,000 Viz
3rd = 5,000 Viz

Entry Fee: 1,000 Viz
(you can send me the Viz by going to my profile)

If you want to enter, send me the 1000 Viz and reply to this thread.

Davideo7 : I'm in, Viz sent.

I will beat you.

Ouch. 1,000 Viz is a little much don't you think? At least people who wont participate might not sign up.
And maybe if the user doesn't play 4 games of "regular" season then they are out so everyone can play. Sending Viz now.

Ill stay out of it. btw, the 2nd place is more Viz than the first.

Davideo7 : i will have to pass  Although mario kart snes works  there is a terrible load of lag messing me up

Count me in!

I'm signing in, hopefuly I'll have a great success this time.

Viz will be sent shortly.

   Alright! I'm in, and by the way, you better watch out if you face me in Super Street Fighter, I'm so powerful, I took down even some of the most annoying spammers in he game( Without spamming the special moves!)

"2nd = 10,0000 Viz"

Oops... put an extra 0 in there. . . unless you moved the coma and 2nd place is more than 1st place

Oh, I almost forgot, when is the tournament going to be held exactly, you know, school and all.

I would like to enter the tournament.I already sent the Viz.

id love to join but i simply dont have the viz

i am entering the contest

The Viz has been sent. I can't wait to compete.

Davideo7 : I of course want in on this competition and will send you the Viz here shortly.

Glad to see you are entering the competition as well!

Good luck to everyone! I can't wait to start!

Davideo7 : i would like to participate but i do not know how to send you Viz please help me

I'd like to participate and I'm sending the Viz, but April 3rd is my 21st birthday and I have a programming project due that night and a Mechanics test the next day. So I'm sending the Viz anyways, but I guess it really depends on the timing and importance of the first day of the competition.
