Text dumbed down in Wiiware version of Cave Story?

I just got a hold of the Wiiware Version of cave story, and I noticed that the Text was, dumbed down slightly, take this example. . .

Balrog: You can't hide from me! I have the nose of a Blood hound! 
 
Misery: Yes, and I dare say the brain as well

It just was disapointing that had to happen to the text.  :/  
 
anyone else think that the text was dumbed down?

If it was dumbed down. That does not surprise me in the slightest. The wii conditioned every game and every series to be used by the casualist of casual gamers. Cave story (AND SUPER SMASH BROS) are no exception.

anything out on your own.

I miss hard games. And will we ever get a game that has as well thought out text as Mjora's Masks?

bombchu link : I don't think it was so much dumbed down, more translated differently. One person can translate text into one thing, another person will interpret it another way. Perhaps this happened by chance, especially since it was not Nintendo that actually did the Wii port.(Which can also be bought off Steam for PC)

I prefer the older version, but I like the newer graphics and hard mode (not forgetting remixed soundtrack) for the WiiWare version. In my opinion we should be able to choose between the dumbed down text and the original text.
