harder bosses in starfox?

Here is my big deal about starfox bosses, they are too easy to defeat. Yes they throw a lot of missiles at you and that makes it a little more difficult. Nearly every single one of them has some flashing red weak spot that tells you exactly where you should shoot. And on top of that, in some games, slippy even goes a step further to tell you exactly where to shoot! I think this game could take an advantage of what Zelda did in majoras mask. In most Zelda games, there is some huge weak spot, much like in starfox. But in majoras mask, all you can do is find out what you can do to weaken them, and then the rest is up to you and your sword. The boss actually has no weak point.

Am I the only one who thinks about this? Tell me you guys' opinion.

I totally agree the bosses in starfox should either have multiple weak points or no weak points at all.If I remember correctly andross had two red dots on the palm of his hands to represent his weak spots.Instead of weak spots they should do what they did with star wolf.I'm pretty sure they had no weak spot all you had to do is blast them with your lasers.

I agree, there should be more Boss fights like in Majoras Mask, all the bosses you could kill by a least 3 different methods and Starfox needs a more unique approach on the matter. (and as I'm Typing this, Sword Legion is fighting the Boss of Meto. Falco: "Are you going to listen to that monkey?") and I can see that we need less flashing spots on the bosses and more dog fighting.

bombchu link : I really loved the dog fighting parts in the series. I liked getting stuck in a small map where you had no choice but to shoot out a bunch of planes that could handle MORE THAN ONE BLAST.

Dogfights = awesomeness. I agree this would have been a good idea. And as for andross, I never understood why he tried to suck your plane into his mouth, yet launching a smart bomb into his mouth hurt him. I mean, swallowing a plane with the bombs intact would result in even more damage. Wouldn't that be suicide? Yet it didn't hurt him to do it.

Disclaimer: I haven't seen this battle in a good while (just recently got a chance to play it again), so my memory may be off a bit.

     I totally agree with you, in fact MM has my favorite Zelda bosses. Why?
Because most of those bosses are actually affected by you're sword from the beginning!
Whoa, they are even affected by arrows and fire arrows! Nope, no using the hookshot to pull
out the eye and slashing it three times. I wish Nintendo would realize that we don't like linear bosses
that we can only hit in one spot or can only use one weapon to attack it. The whole deal where
bosses have cycles and can change forms is just getting old. That's why we like fighting Star Wolf
and darknuts, they fight by our rules, they aren't invincible at all places except one for no logical reason.
Anyways, here's why I think that Star fox bosses are to easy:
   
    Star Fox gets the double and hyper laser at Corneria
    approaches the asteroid field boss
   
    random monkey commander: "I cannot allow you to go any further."
   
    Star Fox "like last time I blew through here?"
   
    commander "What do you mean last time? oh whatever."
   
    commander "Let's see what you've got"

(Yes I've somewhat memorized the all of the Star Fox quips, or at least the ones that I've heard).
    Fox presses Up C to go into a first person view. He aims at the flashing red spots.

There are also some more difficult of the bosses to beat
The Fleet Boss in that giant circle thing is always a challenge for me, sometimes star wolf in Andross' homeworld can be tough at times being 4v1.5, and against Andross' brain is tough too since he is slightly faster than the Ar Wing and can disappear.
