L: L stands for Life Aura. Life Aura is a Mega chip in the Megaman Battle Network games and a Leo Exclusive Giga Chip in Megaman Starforce. Life Aura puts up a barrier around Megaman.EXE/Geo during battle. The aura is nearly impenetrable and can only be destroyed by a single attack that deals 200+ damage (400+ if on a holy panel). This chip is easily one of the most useful chips in any of the games from a defensive standpoint and is definitely a recommended Mega Chip (for MMBN) to put into your folder, ESPECIALLY if you have Sanctuary in your folder as well. As for Megaman Starforce, it isn't the first Giga Chip I'd put in my folder (I personally prefer Darkness Hole), but it is useful, especially against weak enemies. Overall, Life Aura is a very efficient chip that can be a life saver, especially with 1 HP left against someone like Bass.EXE or Andromeda.
