I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I too recently lost my grandfather, however we were not close because of a language barrier. My grandfather was orphaned at an early age, fought in WWII,and later had to get a divorce and remarry to my grandmother. I have some comfort in knowing his last days were a happier time for him, with my cousins keeping him company and all.

I just try to remember the good times and try to remember the things that they taught me and advice they gave me.
