it's me again for another installment of generalspleen's poem extravaganza!!!! LOL I'm just kidding. But in all seriousness here is another poem of mine. Please share this one all over vizzed and let me know what you all think. Anyways here it is. It's titled the last stand:

I pickup my shield. I unsheathe my sword.
I alone shall take on this demon horde.
I pray to the gods to help me ward;
Off the army. To this I am sworn.

Their coming so fast. I have to be faster.
Because I know deep down what they are truly after.
If they get a hold of it they will call their master,
But that won't happen so that doesn't matter.

I'm battered and bruised but I continue to fight.
The horde is desperate. They attack from the right.
I take my sword and swing with all my might.
The horde is gone from a ray of light.

The war is over. I made my stand.
I put an end to the evil ones heinous plans.
But I can never rest. I have to be a man.
Because tomorrow I will have to do it all over again.

And there you have it. I hope you all enjoy it. Please let me know what you think about it and to share my work with the vizzed community. I would really appreciate it.

Generally, when people start posting a lot of poems that can be found on other sites, I make sure that they aren't ripping them off as their own. I ask them a question such as if they are familiar with so and so (the author). You would be surprised how many people rip off other people's work and don't even bother to know the author's name. When I ask if they are familiar with that person, their response is no. Not that I was just assuming you were ripping off things. I just prefer to look into it for the author's sake.

It reminds me of a game where you fight of zombies while with survivors and you have to fend of the zombies until you have the supplies to move to places so you can escape.
