I really need help with my spelling and for some reason I refuse to use the spell checker that is conveniently built into my web browser. ;-)

I know, wierd, right? It makes more sense than putting Sonic games on the Playstation or Xbox though. I don't think that Sonic would sell as well to the more hardcore fanbase that those systems have.

They used to in the past during the SNES and Genesis eras in the 90s but not so much any more.  Sega and Nintendo have kind of a truce now because Sega does not make any gaming systems any more, so in a way they are now working together.  It's really only Nintendo vs Sony vs Microsoft now.

Back when they made consoles that competed with Nintendo and Sony, sure they were competitors but that all ended in the early 2000's when they stopped production of the Sega Dreamcast.

Sega was really formidable back in the 90's. The company went downhill after, finally hitting rock bottom in 2006. Then it started a slow and painful climb back up the hill, putting its games on its former rival's systems to make a profit.it all paid off with sonic colors and Generations, though. Sega has finally found a niche as a multiplatform game maker now.
