HAVE YOU EVER GOT HIT BY A CAR BEFORE?

Never been hit by a car.
Had many "Near Miss" occasions. Sucks walking sometimes.
I was angry about it when I was a teen.
Now?
If I still have the will to get back up after being hit? I will get up and yank the driver out of the vehicle and put the "smack down" on them.
I really do not understand why people can not drive safely.
I drive in a very careful manner. I have to be very alert. I really would hate for my insurance bill to go up. You don't have to be "Driving Miss Daisy". You just keep your witts and stay sharp. Have a Coffee or something. It is not hard. There are rules to follow when driving. Signs. Tests before you get to drive. Why is driving safely an issue?
The answer? I may never know.

And I know I could get a new bike, but there will never be another bike like that one.  It was made over a decade ago and built to actually last.  It was sturdy beyond ridiculousness.  In fact, despite the car running completely over it, the frame was only SLIGHTLY dented.  It was the wheel rims which were destroyed, and when my ex boyfriend's family tried to fix it, they ended up increasing the damage to where a rim couldn't even stay on the frame anymore.

The amazing thing is that... although it was ridiculously sturdy, it was also miraculously light.  Even the cheap little bikes at Wal-Mart weigh more than that one did.  It was meant for use through rugged Alaskan terrain... a true mountain bike.

Plus, as I said.... it was sentimental to me.  A bike may be a strange thing to hold sentimentalities, but I can't help that.

I was in a carcrash where our car hit two other cars but everyone survived. The other cars already had crashed into eachoter and blocked the road and we crashed the other one straight on to the drivers side. I was maybe seven years old and everybody survived. There were some broken bones but I was not hurtmyself. All I remember was how after the shock wore off that it was so boring waiting to get back home, though I understood the cops had to do their jobs.

But I have never been hit by car myself. There have been some close calls. The closest one when a friend asked me to drive her bike home and didn`t bother to tell me the bike didn`t actually have such things as breaks and I only found out when the thing started to go down hill in a busy crossroad.

Yeah, of course. Who hasn't gotten hit by a car? It's only the funnest thing ever! I discovered the joy of being hit by a car when I was about 5 years old. I was riding my motorcycle on the bike lane, when all of a sudden, a flying Bugatti crash into my butt.

When I was 8 I rode my bike out into the middle of a busy street and a mail Semi truck clipped my back tire. Luckily everyone behind him was able to stop quickly and not turn me into a meat waffle. I will never forget the driver of the truck who came out and gave me a big hug and told me everything was going to be ok. What a class act! It was totally my fault and what I did was incredibly stupid and he could have gotten pissed and yelled at me like the lady who slammed on her brakes behind him. But this guy was nice enough to calm me down. Thank god I walked away with a sprained ankle and a bunch of road rash. It could have been SOOOOO much worse.

I have not yet been hit by a car but I have had a few experiences but even though you don't get hit your mind is just completely panicked and thinking many things at once. Why people think its funny to see people get hit by cars mostly just small hits like the car was going 15 mph or something but its not funny at all its just plain sick and sadistic if you enjoy other peoples pain even thought it is an instinct but thank god you didn't get hit and that goes for everyone who didn't get hit so hopefully this tragedy doesn't befall you guys
