Have you tried double-clicking when your cursor is over the screen of your game? It should do that. I know for systems like the SNES that you push ESC and it has a specific menu for cheats and ease of access.

Cho' Matt: I would try using chrome. Sometimes add on's for firefox like Ad Blocker can cause weird issues. I would at least try to see if you are having the same issue with a different browser because as I said before, I have tested this game and the menu seems to be working fine.
