Have you tried double-clicking when your cursor is over the screen of your game? It should do that. I know for systems like the SNES that you push ESC and it has a specific menu for cheats and ease of access.

Most M.A.M.E games' control figuration open though tab or escape, as tRIUNE said. However, if that still doesn't work, let me know and I'll test the game when I get home. The game might just not work period.  I can't test it now, or I would.... sorry about that.

I have tested it myself using Chrome. As with most MAME games, the ESC key brings up the "Menu" When you press it, a little blue box pops up that says "Inupt" and "Return to System"

Double click on "input" then click on the buttons you want to re-configure. Once you are done you can press ESC twice to exit back to your game.

Cho' Matt: I would try using chrome. Sometimes add on's for firefox like Ad Blocker can cause weird issues. I would at least try to see if you are having the same issue with a different browser because as I said before, I have tested this game and the menu seems to be working fine.
