Allow users to double post after a certian amount of time has passed, in the fanfiction and stories boards. See, some people's fics never get a single reply. That means if no one ever replies then you can't post more to the fic. I realize, yes you can edit. But editing only goes but so far before you can no longer fit anymore text into your post. So if your post is too full to add in more content and no one ever replies, then that means the person can't continue there fic. So, I think this is a good idea.

Davideo7 : This is actually a good point. Not allowing users to continue their stories only serves to discourage posting unfinished stories here, which lowers the amount of keywords Vizzed has. Also, when the new rule about sandwich posting goes into effect, will it also include that forum?

In the mean time, if you can't post in one of your threads for any reason, simply PM a local moderator from that forum (or one of your friends if you just need to get around the double posting problem) and ask for help.

There are some situations where a user might need to double post and it's not just that forum but many others as well. Now to prevent that from being abused by those with lots of Viz, I'd make it so that you can only do a certain number of double posts per a day (probably something like 1 or 2).

Ya, sometimes asking for replies doesn't work either and you get totally ignored. That's happened to me on other forums. I also got flamed when asking for replies stating that people have a life outside the net and I can't just expect replies.

What we could do is make it so that you gotta wait 24 hours with no replies before you can double post. If I did that, than I'd make it so that there wasn't a daily double post limit and also no Viz penalty.

Maybe 48 to 72 hours of a wait. I don't want people being able to reply to their own posts really fast.
