So basically I want everyone to drop in here and say what you like most about this amazing state Where is your favorite place to visit? As for me. I just love the scenery here and the people. My favorite place of all is over down in Santa Cruz. So if this is an acceptable post. All my Californians come on by and chat say hi to one another and if you feel like it say where your from. Doesn't have to be exact. Could say northern or southern. I`m from Sacramento but travel a lot.

I've been to cali once though I was so young that the only thing I remember is playing on Laguna Beach and putting sea shells in trash bags and taking them home for souvenirs It was also extremely foggy in the morning, I don't know if that is common there or not.

I live in Cali -- yeah early morning fog is always there on the beach. It's pretty much there for the surrounding cities next to the beach in the morning too... it has to do with offshore moisture and what not, lol.

I'd have to say my favorite place to visit is none other than Huntington Beach -- maybe 2nd is Santa Monica.

"So-Cal" dweller here.

I have only been in California for ten years and I think the people here are crazy.
I try to stay close to the colleges. I often find it easy to fit in there. Not because I'm smart but because I am not Crazy. Other than that I wish the towns were set up or constructed for people who do not drive to get around. With the cost of living being so high out here you'd figure they would design the rest of the place to give everyone else a chance to survive the bills.
The way people act when it rains is very amusing so far. They cant drive in it. Plus they don't bother with coats or jackets. (Not even when on motorcycles.)
Eventually I will have a more positive post on California but right now I am kinda agitated that half my staff was laid off or fired due to the added costs and taxes. Good People too.
How about the rest of you.?

Good Luck To All.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.
