June 6, 1984, has become a landmark date in the history of videogames: The day the first playable version of the addictive game was completed.

Interesting well happy b-day tetris David made a tetris game called Tower of Babel should try it gotta love tetris!

I also have a tetris on my phone a demo version but it's pretty sweet it shows the highlighed block in position at bottom before it gets to bottom, kinda felt like a cheat or something

Well you know how it is. Noobs complained that it was "Too hard" so of course big companies dumbed the game down by adding "Ghost Pieces".
At least the original game is still under that nonsense, and in the DS version you can turn off Ghost Pieces.
Though I prefer the old Tetris music, WTF is Mario music got to do with Tetris?

Yes, there is Tetris on both of those. Tetris Worlds on GBA and Tetris DS on DS.
There is Tetris in one form or another on virtually every single console that exists I think.
