I have been looking forward to the PS4 for a long time, but I don't think I'll be getting one until March or April of next year at the earliest. It's partly because of money, but even if I had the money right now, I just have no interest in putting up with the launch issues. The Blue Light of Death will be fixed in time, and there'll be more games to play in April or so.

Currently, the only games out that really interest me are NBA 2k14 and Knack.

So Sony is claiming that the Blue Light issue is because of damage taken during shipment, which makes sense, since apparently less than 1% are being affected by it.

XBox One is also having problems with the disc drive and various other issues.

What does this tell us? Probably that we should never buy console immediately after launch.
Will I head this warning if we get a PS5 and I have enough money for it at launch? Probably not.
We all continue to gamble on new consoles, and understandably so, since we've only been waiting a year for it.

That said, I can't wait to get a PS4. I'm psyched about it. It looks awesome, and it already has a promising lineup, how much better will it be when I finally set back $400+ for it? lol

Anyone excited about any particular title? I'm really anticipating Tom Clancy's "The Division", personally, but then there are many others that I look forward to as well. Most of those titles I anticipate are the refreshingly non-shooting based games.
