I will say, though, that probably one of the most unique apps I use is Shazam.

I am often spending time in settings where music is always playing above or around me. All that you do is activate the app, it listens to the song, and in a few seconds can tell you the name of the song, artist, and album, but also gives you the option to listen to it through another app, find it on YouTube, buy it on iTunes, and show other popular songs and current tour dates for the song's artist.

As apps go, I think it's brilliant!

Also, a new app that my friends have been going crazy over is "94 Seconds". The aim of the game is within the 94 seconds given to you, you have to answer as many of the questions it asks you. This is the format:

O - State
W- Type of tree
R- Color
I- Country
Your answers: Oregon, Willow Tree, Red (Rose would give you more points), Italy, etc...

The more original or lengthy your response is, the more points you get. It's not easy.
