Honestly?
If they get the Directors for "Ghost in the Shell" or "Appleseed"?
I would have to go with Animated.
Real People?
It would have to be directed by John Woo or The Watchowski Brothers.

Animated or otherwise does not matter for me.
Director and the respect the movie creators have for the tale does.
I honestly do not think anyone will take a "30+ years in the waiting to be made" request.

This is a fun Pipe dream to waste time on though.
I would like to see more hits on this topic.

This may count as spam. But I really don't want any sort of Zelda movie coming out. If its animated, I feel like we will get some sort of "Well excuuuuse me princess!" situation. And I doubt Zelda would ever do well with real people.

I'd love to see a live action or animated movie for Zelda. They can use any of the games storylines or make up a new one as long as the Zelda team writes it. I believe they've never released a bad storyline for one of their games. I just hope if they go with live action they have three great actors for Zelda, Ganon and Link because bad acting culd potentially kill the movies. Actually now that I think about it, it'll require a lot of things to make a successful Zelda movie that won't leave fans disappointed in some way but I imagine it'd be a high risk, high reward type of thing

I'm fine with it not coming to video, as it could easily be mediocre, just to make a quick bit of cash off of fans (think Tron Legacy). But if a good producer got it, and really wants it to go somewhere, it would one of the best days on earth.
