Hello! I prefer a laptop too. Computers can be back breaking, not literally, but they give you back pains because you're sitting there in one place for a long time. A laptop is portable so you can move it around with yourself and get comfortable. Everything is integrated on a laptop too. You don't have to get a monitor, mouse, keyboard etc. as they are all built into a laptop and this makes more accessible. 

I would definitely choose a laptop over a computer any day. Also, laptops can be a lot cheaper than computers and therefore you can save more money when buying them.

Well with this question I guess its a take on what are you going to do and do you need to be anywhere. For the sake of pure convenience I would have to choose the laptop. These things are wonderful note takers for college classes or work. With desktop computers thats more for gaming or just doing a lot of work at home or even storing a lot of important stuff on it. It all depends on how you use the computer and what your purpose is of using it.

Laptop.

I have only used a Laptop in the last 6 months as I moved to London.

When I was living in Skegness (Hometown) I would only use Desktops when I went to a Gaming Store, where I was a popular member among the community.

I do prefer using a Desktop, as I can move my legs around more freely, and when gaming I don't have to be restricted so much. I know that I can get wireless Keyboard and Mice, but I just prefer the whole Desktop in general.

What kind of computer am I using? I am using both desktop and laptop, desktop is being used for collage work and laptop is for my entertainment but I do use the laptop for collage since I take notes a lot. And if I have an issue with any of the following devices I just fix them up since I am an ET student, except I do have a friend who helps with any other issue with the two devices.

I always use a computers for everything, usually I'm not use to the laptop controls, like for example I'm used to the mouse rather than the slide pad thingy on the laptop. So for now computers are usually better in my perspective.

Running a laptop strictly due to the portability of it.
Only issues I have with a laptop is overheating at times but I have found a inter cooler fixs that yet to get one so for now just making sure I limit the amount of time I use on it thanks and cheers DiabeticZach

I am using a laptop right now. I do have a desktop PC, but Vista is not my favorite.

I only use my desktop for FPS games and some other downloaded games that my laptop would suck at supporting.

Mouse control is basically the overall factor. I can't play FPS games well on a laptop (I don't think anyone can do well while playing an FPS game on a laptop without attaching a mouse), and the games lag less on the desktop than on my laptop.
