Sorry, but I have to disagree with the screenshots picked for this thing. If someone asked me to show them how beautiful a retro game can be, I sure wouldn't show them a picture of Dirk the Daring's behind, hehe.

I think good visuals in the actual gameplay are more impressive than in pre-rendered cutscenes or title screens, so I give props for second place for being a gameplay shot, but even then, it's not a very visually appealing image, given how dull and grey the whole environment is.
