I don't like the idea of ending other people expectations, but I'll only do that just so people that try to win legit won't waste their time for nothing. 

The thing is, you can actually cheat on this competition. Here's the problem: You can have access to the rom and save files of the game on the RGR plugin folder. You just have to use an emulator version with all features, then use gameshark codes. After you get all the pokemons in the game, you simply have to move the cheated save file to the RGR plugin folder and overwrite it. After that, you simply open the vizzed game page, start the plugin and load the cheated save game. Then just take a screenshot of your Trainer Profile and voila, you just cheated your way through the competition. Sorry about that, It's a shame to see a Pokemon competition going to waste, but I guess it can't be helped...

mvhupsel : Is there a gameshark code that allows you to have all 251 pokemon, or would you have to add an individual code for each pokemon? That seems pretty tedious to add 251 codes if someone were to do that.

Good point though, I guess there's no way of knowing if someone used a cheated save file.

tRIUNE : Yeah, you would have to catch 1 by 1. It's indeed tedious, but it's still a possibility and there are all kinds of people out there...

I just wanted to make sure people wouldn't waste lots of time and effort, while someone could just cheat and get all pokemons in 1 hour or so...

Hopefully people realize this is supposed to be a competition for fun, but the tie breaker can still be determined by the most money (that should also be determinable by play time since it wouldn't be possible to obtain a super high amount within a hour or so).

tRIUNE : Maybe I'm pushing or being too much of a pessimist, but you can always let the game window opened while you aren't actually playing. The time would keep going while you do something else. And there's most likely a cheat for money too.

I guess one alternative for this issue would be having to play the game with the same restrictions of playing Time Trials and Speed Runs, but even then it's still possible to cheat. I guess competitions don't work so well for games that feature in-game saving.

tRIUNE : The time can actually be manipulated a bit too. I have logged in almost 40 hours, according to the game, but I've really only had about five or so. The speed button really changes how it works. But like you said, hopefully nobody tries to cheat, just to win the competition. Oh, and do you know if I could take a screenshot of the whole window instead? I tried asking Davideo this, but he hasn't replied to it. Because screenshots still won't work for me, but they should be saved still somewhere on my computer.

Well this will be my first update/ second submission. Don't mind the time, I've noticed it clock in almost 5 minutes for every 10 seconds or less on the spacebar. And let's face it, the spacebar becomes the ONLY way to play once you get used to it


EDIT: Yeah, I'm broke; I need more E4 victories. I spent all my money at the gamecorner....

I believe they may have overlooked the lack of more than one of each kind of evolutionary stone in the game. Also, some of the locations in the .txt file from the hacker seem to be different than what we've found in the game.

Well I was not using a hack I was using Pokémon crystal and I got all the Pokémon by trading and everything legit and it took a long time but I did not use the RGR thing so know I am disqualified and I did not even use the right game
