Here is my take on this. Law abiding citizens have a right to bear arms. I think the biggest problem is we have lost a sense of morality in this country, we have a broken mental health care system and parents are not being parents. The past 5 mass shooters all hard warnings on them by psychologists or teachers. Yet these warnings feel on death ears. Had the past 5 shooters gotten treatment or been put in an institution none of these shootings would have happened. Taking away guns won't solve the problem. We need to do a better job on identifying troubled youth or people and getting the help they need. 

As for playing violent video games. I think that is a parent issue. Parents need to teach their kids what they are playing is fake and for entertainment only. Parents have stopped doing that. I don't blame video games. I blame parents not talking to their kids.
