After about a month of site strain and a week of site maintenance, Vizzed is back with full speed!

For those who don't know, Vizzed has been under a lot of strain over the past month or so due to a huge increase in site traffic. The strain eventually got so bad that the site kept going down and having various errors (such as strange demotions and people not getting Viz).

The maintenance took a lot longer than expected due to issues on Hostgator's end (some things were out of my control and I had to wait for them) but I'm glad to say that Vizzed should be up for good and the site speed is faster than it has been for a long time. Hopefully I wont have to do maintenance again for a long time because that was a nightmare that consumed many hours of my time.

With all of that said, I just want to apologize to everyone for all of the down time. I also want to apologize for the lack of updates but that was because of me not knowing when hostgator was going to do their part and them taking a lot longer than they were suppose to.

I appreciate everyone's loyal support for vizzed and as a way to say thanks, I'm making the Viz price of all the games in the Retro Game Room half off until March 1st. Enjoy

Awesome! Glad it is finally fixed! Hopefully it won't happen again.

This is very wonderful, the wait sorta got boring, but it was worth it! With Vizzed in Tiptop shape, we can enjoy our experience here once more. 
It's okay for making us (at least me) wait, if it's for getting Vizzed back in business. 
And with a bonus, thank you for making the wonderful Vizzed forums and the Retro Game Room. The gift is wonderful aswell, and many people will enjoy it. Again, thank you.

Davideo7 : Thanks, also there was a bug/glitch due to the server strain (seems you have squashed it) that would let me get 2 notifications and 200Viz in all per day. I sent you a PM about it a week ago or so, is there a way you could look into this or something? Thanks. *Bow*

Wow... the site really IS moving faster.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but it is we who should be thanking you more than the other way around.

You provide a great service along with having to deal with so many issues to make a bunch of people happy, often with only a few "thank yous" as a reward for all of your hard work (this, of course, goes out to all staff as well for the help that each does in his or her own way.)

So, once again, thank you. You rock!

Definitely missed the site while it was down, and so far I haven't had any issues since maintenance was completed.  Thanks so much for all the hard work you put into this.  I know it had to take ages, and it was not a simple matter that you dallied with.  Your dedication and time is much appreciated and I hope you realize it.

I'm a very impatient person, But I love Vizzed so much I'm glad it's back up and I'm grateful for your time and effort's to fix the problems and hope it don't happen again for awhile. Glad to have it back

I also didnt expected, that the site would be off for so many hours and it must have been really annoying work for you to do, so I'm glad that it didn't take too long. Vizzed works perfectly right now, what means you did a good job.

Oh, and one more thing I noticed lately... It's nothing big, just at the bottom on the left in the Site Info- box, there it says "All Rights Reserved 2002 - 2011" instead of 2013. ^^

Good because I was going insane when vizzed wasn't working.

Site maintenance is too complicating to explain briefly but the site maintenance that I recently did involved database work and adjusting MySQL files.

slimeface1212 : No I don't because it's not like they're dying, it's usually their choice.

Careidina : I'll look into it when I get a chance but let me know when you find out for sure whether it's fixed or not.

CobraGuy : I do get a lot of thank yous and those help make up for user negativity.

The site does run a lot faster now. However, I'm still getting the 500 errors when trying to edit a game page. Seems like it just started today, although I'm not sure if that's related to the strain or not.

Yes the site is way faster. I can finally load the page in less than 5 secs (used to take forever x.x) But on a side note, I'm having a small problem with setting my controller configurations. I know how to do it properly, so no problem with the knowledge part. Been using vizzed for a while now...but this is the first time I've had this problem.  Whether a server bug, or just my laptop bugging I can't say for sure, unless someone else is experiencing it as well? When I go to enter my keys in the proper place ( ex. -> Left (A) or Right (D) ) It doesn't work. It's like my keyboard isn't working for the game or something. When I put in a key like right shift or something, it does work, which I don't get...Also frequently I've had the issue where when I click the box to set the correct key, it will set the control to (R). It's bugging out and I don't know what to do about it. I've done the following. Reset Emulator, Restarted Laptop, used different browser (usually run vizzed in chrome), re-downloaded the rgr plugin (4 times now...). Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance. (I've double checked, and this applies to every single control configuration that has to do with the RGR plugin. All others seem to config. just fine)
