Trust points do almost nothing, In my opinion... They just give you an underlined name and access to a few forums.

Trust points do a several things around the site. Give you access to forums, allow you to apply for staff positions and a handful of other things.

You get them from users and staff for generally being a good member and trying to help out the site.

A. You need to obtain a minimum of 5 trust points to reach the Trusted status. Once obtained, you will keep it as long as you have a positive trust point value (so greater than 0).

Q. How do I get Trust Points?

A. Be respectful to other members, follow the rules, and get yourself known by popping into chat and posting in threads. Whatever you do, do not ask for someone to give you trust points, this will generally get you rated down."
