I've been a fan of the Armored Core series for awhile, and when I found out about Armored Core IV, I had to buy it. It is a decent game with good graphics and voice acting, but it could be a lot better.

Game play: The controls aren't too hard to figure out. However, if you don't get used to them quickly, you'll soon be overwhelmed by the large groups of small enemies.

AC4 is an entertaining video game, but it's also very short. It is made up of 30 missions which each last about two to five minutes, so the game passes far too quickly.
I give the game play 4/5.

Graphics: The graphics are the standard quality for next gen games, but it really seems like most of the work went into the mechs as the landscapes are very bland.

Graphics get a 3.5/5.

Customization Options: This is where the Armored Core series shines. There are thousands, maybe even millions, of customization options in armored core.

AC4's customization gets a 5/5; it's perfect.

All in all, AC4 is a good game and is definitely worth at least renting. I hope my review was helpful.
