Graphics -7 they are improved with more frames yet unfortunately  the actual game its self looks exactly like the genesis port so there ant that much difference between the genesis port of mk1./ other words the graphics are good but they still look like their genesis counterparts



Sound -9  most of the sounds from the genesis port have been replaced with more arcade like sounds/ soundtrack its almost perfect but probe software screwed up the order they were in/ that means when your fighting goro you will hear the courtyard music .

the game rather plays  like the Sega genesis port which is a good thing but it has load times there not too long it mainly loads between matches and very briefly for fatalities and morphs when fighting shang tsung  



Addictiveness - 7 there are a lot more changes with the sound quality that makes the game more enjoyable than the genesis port of mk1 and with the smooth controls that also makes it addicting



Story-5  its the same as the arcade original shang tsung is trying to rule earth realm and you have to defeat him

Depth -6 offers what the Sega genesis port of mk1 did heck you can even put in the same dullard code 



Difficulty  -4 well as I said before the game plays like the genesis port so the difficulty has not really changed by much



Final Verdict as far as the game goes its not enough to track down a Sega cd and really its not that big of a leap over the genesis port so I give the game a 8.8  probe software could have rather step up the graphics though with a little bit of hardwork
