So, basically, there is no music here on Ohua. They play the same 15 songs over and over again, and the island is 4 months behind on music, according to the guy that sold me my car from the used dealership that also DJ's at a few clubs and for a few radio stations.

If I get the stereo, I would be hooking up my laptop to it, so I could listen to a good bit on music that I have on iTunes.

So... what do you think I should do? Should I get a stereo for my car, should I not, or is it "Meh"?

mrfe: yeah, I like music. The car came with bass... (see my other thread about my first car in this forum for more information), so it would be nice. Music helps me concentrate while driving.

I say go for it man. I absolutely love music. It helps me concentrate when I am doing stuff. And as Eddy88 said it is a good idea if the radio is four months behind. I have feature you might want to look into is if you want to hook it up to your laptop make sure the radio is not a interchangeable radio cover. That would cause some problems considering they do not have radios like that.

mangalover9x9 : Alright man. Thanks for the advice. That might come in handy tonight.  I know I will have to buy an AXU... whatever it is called cord to go from the laptop to the stereo. That is going to be the main issue in picking one.

I really cant believe it didnt have one... every car has one here...
id suggest you buy one that has an ipod dock, or you can buy a lead online that lets you connect it.its much more convenient than a laptop (and harder to nick because you can pocket it when you leave the car)
