So, I've been engaged for nearly three years now and I keep getting asked the same thing: "When's the wedding?"

My response is always, "When we can afford it."

Moving to the other side of the country during a recession and then going to graduate school tends to be a drain on the savings account, even with financial aid. It gets rather frustrating.

Enter a contest on the Facebook page for David's Bridal... tell the story of your proposal and then have people vote on it. The prize is $2,500... not enough to pay for the whole thing, I know, but it should at least handle part of it and that would help get the ball rolling.

Voting goes through the end of the month, and I need all the votes I can. So I've come here to ask if those of you with a Facebook account will help me out. You do have to like the David's Bridal page to vote, but you can unlike it as soon as the contest is over. I would really appreciate it if you guys could do this.
