I know that some people do like the old bleep blop sound of some games and their music, but I myself can not stand some of the sound effects in the game. If a sound control could be added to vizzed and not the actual game, then that'd be good since I usually listen to my own stuff on youtube. Maybe on the side of the window your playing the game, you could add some kind of volume button like screen shot and button configuration?

port753 : As far as I know, I don't think there are any plans to add that option. However, on most computers you can choose to disable sound for the web browser. Hope this helped!

Actually, I don't know if this could be on your computer, but where you can change the sound (On the bar at the bottom with systems to use) if you see "mixer", you can change the volume, and bang (If you have it). If you can't find that, the feature might need to be added to those who don't know.

Yes people... I am aware that I can change the volume of all the sound on my computer at once, but I want to mute the sound just emulating from vizzed. I don't want to be opening Itunes up constantly to have some music I like to play

port753 : What browser do you use? if you use Google chrome, I can help you. If it does appear, if you get the sound option, it should say "Google Chrome" and the window you have open. If you mute Google Chrome, the game will be muted, but not the other window.

I don't think an option for muting the RGR game window, just for the purpose of muting it, will ever be implemented. It took 3 years just to get fullscreen support implemented with the latest Plugin.

However, if you would like to do this, it can be done if you have either Windows Vista or Windows 7. Earlier versions of Windows (including Windows XP) can not mute the game alone.

To mute the game, start by making sure it is opened in a separate window. Right click on the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of your computer screen, then click "Open Volume Mixer." You should see a box with a list of all the programs you are running. Your browser should appear at least twice. Mute one of them, then check if your game has sound. If it does, just go back and unmute the first one, then mute the other one.

The only way this will really work is if you have either Windows 7 or Vista, but there is a way. I'll list them out in steps to make it simple, Nya~.

1) Go to the control bar (Bottom of the screen, shows what you have open)
2) Go to the Audio settings and select
3) Choose "Mixer"
4) Locate the RGR Plugin, or whatever it's listed under
5) Turn the volume all the way down
6) ???
7) Profit.

Excluding 6 and 7, that's all you need to do to get it to be muted, Nya~.
If you have Windows XP, though, it's basically impossible to mute it, sorry.

Maybe some day... but not likely any time soon. Most (if not all) of the emulators on Vizzed have the capacity for volume controls in their menus but these menus are disabled for RGR compatibility. It would probably be fairly costly to David to have his plugin developer find a way to re-enable the portions that do volume control.

The only system that has its full menu enabled is SNES... so you should be able to at least mute that... but for other systems, you'll need to go with what has been suggested as a workaround.

This has been answered as much as it can be, so it's closing time.
