I dunno...Arceus can change types with plates. Even if it's normal, Mew's fighting attacks couldnt do that much damage (less than 1/2). That's b/c Arceus has higher base stats than mew. I like mew, but I'm gonna have to go with Arceus on this.

Arceus is 4th gen.
I think mew would win but it would be an insane battle. Mew can transform into any pokemon, but Arceus can change type with plates. In the games, Arceus would win, but in the show, I'm going for Mew. Statwise, Arceus is the strongest pokemon ever. It is even stronger than Mewtwo.

This depends entirely on if its a planned battle of not.

I think the point being skipped over is the fact that if the battle is unplanned then it's anyones guess as to the victor.
You can't change plates in mid battle (I believe) so you can't rely on that to decide the outcome.
